Wet your lashes thoroughly

Wet your lashes with warm water, at least 38°C, for 15 to 30 seconds. The warm water softens the mascara so the tubes can release. Lukewarm water is not enough.

Press gently

Hold the wet lashes between your fingertips and press gently. Do not use makeup remover or oil based cleansers.

Let the mascara slide off

Gently slide your fingertips from the roots towards the tips. The mascara will easily slide off in small tubes.

How do I remove the mascara?

Our mascara is a tubing mascara, which means it works differently from a traditional mascara.

The formula wraps around each individual lash in tiny tubes and therefore does not need to be dissolved with makeup remover or oil. Instead, it is removed using warm water and gentle pressure.

Here's how:

1. Use properly warm water, at least approximately 38°C. Lukewarm or cold water is not enough for the tubes to release properly.

2. Thoroughly soak your lashes. Let the warm water come into contact with your lashes for approximately 15 to 30 seconds. This step is important – the mascara needs time to soften before you try to remove it.

3. Gently press around your lashes. Once the mascara has become warm and soft, use clean fingertips to gently hold your lashes.

4. Gently slide from the roots towards the tips. You will feel the mascara slide off your lashes in small tubes. They may look like tiny black threads or pieces – this is the mascara coming off, not your lashes.

5. Repeat with more warm water if needed. If the mascara is still in place, it usually means it has not become warm or wet enough. Soak your lashes again for another 15 to 30 seconds and repeat.

Avoid rubbing, scrubbing or pulling on your lashes. You also do not need waterproof makeup remover, oil or cleanser to dissolve the mascara. The key is sufficiently warm water, thoroughly soaking the lashes and then gently allowing the tubes to slide off.

Tip: If you are removing the mascara at the sink, soak a soft washcloth or cotton pad in warm water and hold it against your closed eyes for approximately 20 to 30 seconds before gently removing the mascara. This helps keep the warmth against your lashes for longer.

How do I get the best volume when the mascara is new?

When the mascara is first opened, the formula may have a slightly softer and more flexible consistency. After a few uses, the consistency usually becomes slightly thicker.

For the best results, apply thin layers and allow each layer to set for a few seconds before building further. If you want more volume, gradually apply several thin layers. This gives you better control over separation, volume and lift.

How long will it take before I see results?

The majority of users experience visible results within four weeks, although in some cases it may take longer. In our consumer panel, 96% saw visibly longer lashes within twelve weeks of using Eyelash Growth Serum.

How often should I use the serum?

To achieve the best possible results, we recommend using Lenoites lash serum once a day for at least 8-12 weeks. After the initial period, you can then reduce the frequency to every two or three days to maintain the achieved result. It is best to apply the serum in the evening, a few minutes before going to bed, so that it has enough time to be properly absorbed.

Does the serum contain prostaglandin analogues?

The Swedish Medicines Agency advises consumers against using products that contain prostaglandin analogues as they can cause serious side effects. Therefore, this substance is not found in any of Lenoites products.

Prostaglandin-based eyelash serums make the lashes grow very quickly. However, the side effect is not as positive. Prostaglandin analogues are used in several ophthalmic drugs to lower the eye pressure in glaucoma. Common side effects are eye irritation, itching, redness of the whites of the eyes, eye pain and color changes of the iris (for example, blue eyes can turn brown!) Because prostaglandin-derived serums have such serious side effects, both the Swedish Medicines Agency and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have issued warnings against them. Lenoites eyelash serum and eyebrow serum are completely safe to use, effective, and good. With Lenoites serum, you can feel safe.

Can I use the serum when I have eyelash extensions?

Absolutely! Lenoites eyelash serum is free from oils and has no negative effect on eyelash extensions. The effect of the serum does not affect the lash extension, as the serum strengthens your own natural lashes even during the extension period. The serum is therefore perfect to use if you have planned to stop using extensions and want to start building up the length of your own lashes again.

Does PowerLash work on short or straight lashes too?

Yes. The flexible, double-sided silicone brush catches every lash and coats it from root to tip, which makes it effective on short, straight and downward-facing lashes. Build up thin layers until you reach the volume and length you want.

Is PowerLash waterproof, and how do I remove it?

PowerLash is water-resistant, not waterproof. The tubing formula wraps each individual lash in lightweight tubes that stay in place through everyday moisture, sweat and tears without smudging or running.

The difference comes when you remove it. You need neither makeup remover nor an oil-based cleanser. Soak your lashes in warm water of at least 38°C for 15 to 30 seconds, press gently with clean fingertips and slide from the roots towards the tips. The tubes will slide off on their own. No rubbing.

How long does one PowerLash last with daily use?

With daily use, one mascara typically lasts about 2 to 3 months. How long it lasts depends on how often you apply it and how much product you use each time.
